oscar de la renta perfume...

i just had to post this advertisement for oscar de la renta's first perfume in a decade. the illustration is absolutely gorgeous! love the soft pinks against the models dark tresses; very dramatic.

this is a little something from my sketchbook. i love to draw the human form (this may be down to the life drawing classes that i took in college as well as fashion design and illustration - lots of figure drawing!) almost as much as I love to draw animals. so there you go; the two combined! (que mad scientist laughter) more animal/woman hybrids to come!

halloween - the dig

the guys at 'the dig' asked me for an illustration of the dig man gone bad for their halloween special. here he is in demon form! the poster was put together by my partner, dan buckley.

my partner and a few friends run a club night in singapore called 'the dig'. i was asked to help out with the logo which was to be a construction worker and before long, 'dig man' was born. now i help out with all of their promotional work.

i have been so so busy recently but i did get chance to do a little experimenting with water colour paints. water colours are a material that i've always enjoyed, but not in the conventional sense. i don't have the patience for sitting around painting ever changing landscapes and take more pleasure in mixing different media together and playing around until i like the outcome! here it is anyway, let me know what you think!
